PAINTINGS

Trained primarily in painting, drawing, and printmaking, Harry Breen has dealt—to a large extent— in his paintings with landscape subjects; particularly those of the central Illinois prairie and Shawnee Hills of southern Illinois. From early childhood, Breen says, he has had a special interest in the natural world. Its landscapes, skies, flora, and fauna have been—and are—subjects of study for him academically or aesthetically.
